Quinetic Wireless Switch & Lighting Installation
On this job, we were asked to improve the lighting in a car port while also upgrading the switching. The existing lights were connected to a sensor that activated every time someone walked past, which wasn’t practical for the customer.
To brighten the space, we installed two 5-foot LED battens, neatly linked with white conduit. This allowed us to complete the installation without lifting the floor above.
To resolve the switching issue, we fitted a Quinetic wireless receiver, discreetly hidden within the light fitting itself. We then installed two black IP67 Quinetic wireless switches — one at the front and one at the back of the car port. These switches require no power and no batteries, making them a reliable and maintenance-free solution.
