Yatley Garden Lighting Installation
We recently completed a bespoke garden lighting installation in Yatley, delivering a fully integrated, smart-controlled outdoor lighting solution. Our goal was to enhance the appearance of the garden while providing the client with flexible, intuitive control over their lighting for different moods and occasions.
The Brief
The client approached us looking for a high-end garden lighting system that would:
- Create multiple lighting scenes and atmospheres
- Include colour-changing functionality
- Be easy to control remotely
- Highlight key features of the garden and driveway
Our Solution
We designed and installed a Lutron-integrated lighting system using advanced wireless control technology. The garden lighting was divided into eight individual zones, allowing different areas to be controlled independently and giving the client complete flexibility over the look and feel of the space.
For this project, we worked closely with FOSS LED, who custom-cut every LED strip to the exact lengths required. This made the on-site installation far more efficient and helped us achieve a clean, precise finish throughout the garden.
Installation Process
The installation was completed over the course of a couple of weeks, allowing us to carry out the work carefully and with minimal disruption.
Groundworks
We began with the necessary groundworks, ensuring all ducting was positioned correctly. This created a solid and future-proof foundation for the lighting infrastructure.
Lighting Installation & Integration
Once the groundwork was complete, we installed the LED strips, fittings, and control equipment, fully integrating everything into the Lutron system and wireless controller.
Key Features
The entire system is managed through a wireless controller, with eight distinct zones allowing for versatile lighting scenes across the garden.
The custom-cut LED strips provide dynamic colour-changing options, ideal for entertaining or setting different moods.
We installed drive lights designed to illuminate both the driveway and the pillars, creating a cohesive and visually striking entrance to the property.
Colour-changing GU10 lamps were installed in the trees and fully integrated into the remote-controlled scenes, allowing them to work seamlessly with the rest of the system.
End Result
The completed project delivers a professionally controlled, zone-specific garden lighting system that combines functionality with strong visual impact. The client now has complete control over colour, ambience, and layout, all managed from a single wireless controller.
